Creepy Postcard

Way back in Hauntcast 27, "In Smell-o-Vision," I mentioned the strange Halloween-ish postcard I found in a local antique shop. Since I'm sure most of you thought I made it up, I thought I'd scan it and post it for you.

To this day, I really wonder about the message...

  1. Great find! It' curious that there's no house number or zip code on it.

  2. Wow, the front of the post card was creepy enough, but the message on the back really is haunting!

  3. I just think someone found that card in a store (yes it IS a weird card) and was making a joke when they wrote that message. I like to think they were like us, with a twisted sense of humor. I'm sure if smiley faces had been invented then, they would have added one :)

  4. It IS interesting, huh? 1911-no zip codes, but they could still get the card out to whom it was addressed....

  6. Ooo cool! I LOVED that Charmed Pot epi. as I am an antique Halloween card collector myself. What a priceless and uber creepy message!

  7. The handwriting is the that of an aggressive, possibly violent individual. The T-bars are much heavier than the other strokes and they end in a sharp, dagger-like point. Based on this, I don't think the writer was joking at all.
