What's on Your Nightstand? (I'm Talking About Books, Here!)

I posted this on my personal Facebook page, but I thought I'd throw it out to my readers (all three of you who comment regularly...):

"Many people stop reading once they get out of school, even though learning should really never stop.
That said, what book are you reading right now? I'll start it off:
I'm reading Terry Pratchett's "The Fifth Elephant" and Peter Cushing's Memoirs."
So what books are you reading? Go!

  1. I'm not much of a book reader, so it has to REALLY interest me to pick it up. But I got a cool book for Christmas that I am starting to read: The Zen Of Zombie, Better Living Through the Undead, by Scott Kenemore.

  2. I've mostly got kid and young adult horror and books about the paranormal. A lot of John Bellairs, some Bruce Coville, a smidgin' of RL Stine though he's kinda pedestrian in comparison.

I have a history of pirates and a biography of Alister Crowley. Some Promethea comics. Some Discworld books. The Complete Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I recently finished a length fantasy book called "Wise Man's Fear" which was pretty exceptional.

And I'm with you! I have a stack of paper books and a Kindle full of all manner of things. Some are ceramics books, some are novels, some are biographies. LOTS to get through and not enough time!
