"My whole life is a dark room..."
My costume for Halloween, which I was fortunate enough to spend at The Davis Graveyard! Because I have the best Hallowe'en friends, ever!
It was a wonderful, Pacific Northwest, Fall weekend. The weather was beautiful! Sunny, breezy, with that little chill in the air. Little, adorable, scudding clouds. Red and yellow leaves floating by. Spider webs. Gravestones. Skulls.
The Gashleycrumb Tinies, too!
*Happy sigh* Perfection!
Not only that, but WOLVERINE WON ONE OF MY GOBLETS!
OK, it wasn't actually Wolverine, but it was still pretty cool to have this shot texted to me...
It was also so comforting to be among my tribe, filled with Red Dwarf and Firefly references, big hugs, and the simple happiness of being together after a very long absence. Such a warm fuzzy to be with Chris and Jeff, too!
Until next year, Davis Graveyard!
Happy Halloween! It was great to have a good one this year, wasn't it. Time to start planning for next year!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to get some props made this coming year and replace my tombstones, but I may just stick with my ceramics. Who knows? ;)
DeleteThose skulls with the melted candle wax on them sitting on the mantel look superb.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! They're really impressive in person!
DeleteThere were quite a lot more Lydias and Bettlejuices around Salem this year! Most of the Lydias I saw were in the red dress though.
ReplyDeleteWhat what a treat - the Davis Graveyard is indeed an amazing haunt. Your costume looks great too!
ReplyDeleteLucky!!
ReplyDeleteIm so jealous! That is so cool you got to go there and celebrate!
ReplyDeleteYou deserve it, hope you had the best Halloween
We were so lucky to have such gorgeous weather for Halloween weekend. Sadly, we didn’t have time to see Davis Graveyard this year.
