Who knew the White House was the last bastion of old school Hallowe'en, just like we had in the 1970s?

Politically charged, vicious comments to start in 4, 3, 2, 1... (Children, please play nice.)
(I hate election years.)
I need to call Tim B. up when Stewie finally gives up the ghost... Maybe he can make something like this for me! Image via Follow the Money Blog |
When I pop by to trick or treat at the White House, I'll have to talk to them about how their spider webbing technique needs some work. Honestly! You think these webs are good enough for the President of the United States??? Final two images via Politico 44. |
Oooooooo...I love the eyes in the window and the bats around the hanging light! My house has these two, tall, very strangely shaped windows in the top front that would be perfect to put creepy eyes in!
ReplyDeleteNo viciously charged political comment from me. I love how the WH did up Halloween! (I do agree on the spider webs though.)
ReplyDeleteAwesome post! I love that huge pumpkin statue
ReplyDeleteTim Burton's work. I LOVE it!
DeleteIt's good to be the king, as they say! Lol!
Tim Burton at the White House, gotta love it! i didn't know they did this... very cool!
ReplyDeleteI always thought the White House would be too security-driven to do anything for Halloween, so this is a very pleasant surprise. Love the tall pile of jack-o-laterns (I've been collecting some, but it looks like I need a busload more to do anything that effective!) Another big shocker today was seeing your comments over on Brooklyn Limestone! Are we gonna have to have a cat-fight to see who gets her fab house?? Let the hair-pulling and battling with spike-heeled pumps begin!
ReplyDeletelove. love. love.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Regardless of political affiliations (or lack thereof, in my case), I'm impressed!!!
