Winging My Way to Transworld

My flight is leaving at 6:00A.M. and I'll touch down in St. Louis at 2:50. I'll have enough time for a short rest, a shower and a costume change for the Insane Shane Kickoff Party. Then I get to connect with my Hauntcast brothers and watch them try to outdrink Johnny Thunder. I can't wait!

Come see us and enter the Hauntcast raffle! See you there, gravelings!

The Scream Team Descends on Transworld

If you follow Johnny Thunder's blog, this is old news for you, but for those who don't, here's the memo from the desk of Chris Baker:
The clouds have parted for a brief moment and the haunt gods have bestowed me with a free airline ticket and booth space at Transworld. Not only will I be there, but so will the entire Scream Team. For all the minions that will be in attendance you can find us at booth 1118. We will be sharing some space with Juneau Studios.

We will be raffling off:

How-To Haunt Your House Vol 1 & 2 by the Mitchell’s

Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein Graphic Novel

Trick r’ treat DVD

Let the right one in DVD

Halloween – An American Holiday, An American History by Lesley Pratt Bannatyne

Scary Godmother by Jill Thompson

and this phenomenal sculpt by Robert of Brandywine Cemetery.
This may be the only time the Team will be all together, so come hang with us if you’re in St. Louis.
I'm very happy and excited to be hitting Transworld with my Hauntcast brothers! Do drop by the booth if you're able!

Hauntcast at Transworld

It's official! The entire Scream Team will be assembling at Transworld this March! It was up in the air for a bit because of my home budget, but that hurdle has been overcome and it's smooth sailing all the way to St. Louis.

If you're going to Transworld, please stop by the Hauntcast booth and say, "hi." You can hear Johnny Thunder's laugh in person, too! What could be better?

TransWorld 2009

TransWorld. The pro haunter's Mecca. Where all the new props and up-and-coming talent show their gruesome wares. The show was split into two parts this year. According to the fellas over at Hauntcast, the Vegas show was said to be poorly thought out, mostly because there seemed to be no centralization of lodging and convention center. People were spread out all over the strip and convenience was minimal.

The second part of the show was held in St. Louis. And from the video, it looks like they had some fun!

I wanted to give props to Sac FX, who are members of CalHaunts NorCal, for their Dr. Steampunk prop we saw briefly in this video. He's the creepy, one-eyed mad scientist in the whack wheelchair. Great job, guys!
