Hauntcast - Back Again!

From the crew who put the "fun" in functional alcoholism, another episode of Hauntcast is about to drop - probably tomorrow!

Chris Baker has missed the podcast spotlight and roped the rest of us into making Hauntcast episodes every other month, or possibly even monthly, depending on --

That's right! YOU!

He put up a Patreon page for Hauntcast, where you can make a small (or large) monthly donation to help support the show and the expenses which come with making it. We're halfway to our first goal, so if you can afford to throw in a few bones, please do!

We're just dying to give you your Hallowe'en fix!

The Hauntcast Patreon page is here.

Because We Miss the Attention...

So I get this text from Chris Baker the other day:

"I'm getting the band back together."

It turns out Chris Baker was drunk again, and offered to do another episode of Hauntcast

The good news is that you don't have to be a subscriber to get this episode, because we're doing it for donations! A couple of our Scream Team members are going through a tough time and the rest of the team wants to help out by putting on another episode.

Don't worry, we're not going to be doing the Jerry Lewis Beg-a-Thon and annoying you everywhere we have a web platform. What would be nice, though, is if you've enjoyed the show (or even a small portion of it) over the years, please spread the word. We're looking at doing a show as early as March, if we get enough donations together. Yes, March, right at the beginning of build season! Woo-hoo!

I have to say that I'm pretty excited, because I've missed hearing everyone else's segments.

If you're relatively new to this blog and have never heard of Hauntcast, you can click here for some free shows. Just realize this isn't a show you want your young kids listening to, unless you want them to pick up some interesting new vocabulary words!

As most of you know, the Season and show ending is rapidly approaching. As of June, Hauntcast is closing its doors again, this time for good. If you were a subscriber or an admirer of the show, Baker has a request for you:

Call the Hauntcast Bone Phone at
508-534-8876 and leave us a message to be played in the final episode of Hauntcast. Say why you love and will miss the show, how long you've listened, how it's upped your haunt game, etc… Please keep it about 30 seconds.
Take a little time to show your love! And if you've never listened to Hauntcast and you're a fan of Halloween, there are a few free shows to download, and there are still subscription offers available here, if you're interested. Subscription offers start at $1 per episode.

Often imitated, never duplicated! Hauntcast: at least we don't suck!
